Initiation into Andean Shamanism
Becoming the bridge between man and spirit in the new world
LIMA—CUSCO—URUBAMBA—MACHU PICCHU—PUNO—LAKE TITICACA
This sacred journey is designed as a learning trip to awaken the chakaruna
(human bridge) within each one of us. The first bridge is that within
ourselves. When we bridge the dualities within us, we unite with ourselves.
This harmony initiates the healer, the priest/priestess or the shaman path.
We will learn about the Andean Cosmos Vision and the core spiritual
traditions of Andean Spirituality. Through these understandings and our
practice of ceremonies, we become clear of our roles as chakarunas in the
new world. When we are in union and harmony between the complementary
aspects within ourselves, it is possible to give to others through the unity
of our hearts.
Deep gratitude to the Universe, the Great Spirit, Pachamama, the Apus, the
Grand Masters in both physical and and non-physical forms for their
perpetual assistance and blessings of the creation of this journey. Coming
from a place of awe and deep respect towards the spiritual masters, the
shamans of this tradition—their power, their humility, their open hearts and
their willingness to give and share, and it is also from this deep honoring,
that this trip has come into creation.
We invite you to join us to step into the energies of the amazing land of
Peru. To learn and discover for yourself the experience of oneness and unity
of hearts.
Intentions for our sacred journey
After our experience of being in this land, we can offer our personal
testimonies regarding the remarkable transformations that happen within and
without by just being in the energy of this land. Whether you are
consciously aware of it or not at this moment, if you feel a calling and
feel drawn to this trip, you will experience a deep shift just by being in the land.
The intention in the creation of this trip is for us to experience more than that.
On this journey, we will visit sacred places with beautiful and powerful
energies, in addition to that, we will exchange with these energies through
the powerful ceremonies we perform. This trip is not a “holiday” in the
common sense, but an opportunity to learn about ourselves and open up to all our potentials.
One of the intentions of the trip is also to perform a ceremony of the Union
of Hearts, so that as a collective race we can fully experience the power as
One. The Andes hold the strong energy of the Divine Feminine, which is
perfect for us to open our hearts and connect with each other on a deep level.
This trip is an intensive course on Andean spirituality; it is an
experiential trip on many significant ceremonies for the initiations in the
Andean priesthood. The trip is created, with a clear intention that we may
all become vessels in aiding the dawning of a new golden age of peace.

We are blessed to have the guidance of our shaman, Raul Tomaylla,
on this journey. I have been on both trips with Raul as our shaman, and his
devotion and love towards his work and humanity is an inspiration to me. His
power and humility speaks for itself. My deep gratitude to him and his son,
Harry, who will be our guide also on the trip, for making this journey happen for us.
The San Pedro and Ayahuasca Ceremonies
First and foremost, this trip is intended as a journey into the world of the
Shaman of the Andes, the rituals, ceremonies and way of life.
The Ayahuasca and San Pedro ceremonies are an integral part of the shamanic
initiation and as such have been included in the itinerary. They are not compulsory.
If for any reason you feel this is not the time to be initiated into these
ceremonies, we will honor your decision to not participate. It is not
necessary to make a decision when registering, if you wish to speak with our
shaman before your decision, he is very happy to do so on the trip.
These ceremonies are included as part of our sacred journey as an honoring
to the tradition and as an opportunity for us to cleanse our physical and
energetic bodies. Your spirit will know if this is the best time for you to
experience these ceremonies. The best advice I could give is, “Open more of
your heart, and less of your mind.” The West has many different views on the
Ayahuasca ceremony, and not all of them are of complete truth.
According to our shaman, Ayahuasca is not a hallucinogen, rather, it brings
us into parallel realities. “Aya” means “Spirit” and “huasca” translates to
“vine”, when we experience Ayahuasca, we become the vine that bridges the
spirit and human world. In this tradition, this is a cleansing and purging ceremony on all levels.
It is usually best for one to enter into the ceremonies of San Pedro and
Ayahuasca with the least expectation as possible. This is to prevent the
psyche from forming any ideas about what might or might not happen. The
experiences are always different and unique for each individual. Any healing
will be the most effective when we can let go of all expectations.

It is of our recommendation for the group to be fully in the experience.
